Public Programs:
Freedom to Read
60-minute talk or 90-minute facilitated conversation
Larger audience or 6–15 people
A program about stories, access, discomfort, and what happens when people disagree about what should be available to read.
We may ask: Whose stories get seen? What happens when a book makes us uncomfortable?
A fit for Banned Books Week and other civic events.
The Four Relationships That Shape a Life
2 hours | One session or all four | 6–15 people
Money. Family. Nature. Self.
Each session asks people to notice assumptions they may carry without usually examining.
What does “enough” mean? What role did you learn to play in your family? How easy is it to receive help?
No test. No score. No required personal sharing.
Custom Community Conversation
90 minutes | 6–15 people
You bring a question your community is already talking about. Together, we shape the format and agreements for the room.
Past themes have included Belonging and Borders and Work, Time and the Economy.
The aim is not agreement. It is a chance to hear how other people are thinking—and perhaps leave thinking a little differently yourself.

If that person were gone for two weeks, what would suddenly become difficult?
We look at thin backup, knowledge that lives mostly in one person’s head, unclear ownership, and what could make the work easier to share.
Not a blame session. Not another lecture about self-care.
Book it alone or pair it with a public program.
